Lewisville came up with the deciding runs in the bottom of the 9th inning scoring 3 runs on 3 hits. Michael Young led off and keyed the rally when he lined a one-base hit. Ross Gload stepped up next and he delivered a single. Kevin Mench then belted a three-run homer (his 6th of the season) giving Lewisville the victory as 13,230 happy fans celebrated wildly. Despite losing, Tombstone out-hit Lewisville 10 to 6. Lance Carter(3-0) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 2 innings. Jamie Moyer(2-3) was tagged with the loss. 'We just wouldn't give up,' Gonzalez said. 'Much of the credit goes to our fans - they were with us the whole way.'
